The Eupora Arts, Inc was founded in 2001 as an incentive to start a local arts organization. Housed on 24 N. Dunn Street in the BLY building, which was named in honor of three long-time Webster County music teachers, Mrs. Myrtle Booth, Margaret Lacy, and Marie Yates. The Eupora Arts is an ambitious undertaking that needs the support of Webster County to succeed. Become a member of the Eupora Arts. It is not just an investment in the Arts; it is an investment in our community!	The Eupora Jazz Band will perform a benefit concert for Joe Embry in the BLY auditorium on Main Street in Eupora on Saturday, May 29 at 7:30 PM. Joe is the father of senior band member Jesse Embry and is recovering from 2nd and 3rd degree burns in the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia. Joining the high school band members will be area musicians Robin Hill of Tupelo, Lora Leigh Robinson of Eupora and Barrett Grey of Houston. Admission is $5.00. Refreshments will be available at intermission. All proceeds go to the family of Joe Embry.
