The Webster Writers meet on the third Saturday of each month at 2:00 pm at the BLY. They share, encourage, and inspire each other's writing projects. Also published writers come to share their writing and publishing experiences. This year's goal is to create a book of favorite recipes. Send your favorite recipe with a short story (200-300 words) telling about a memory the food invokes or the cook to Gwen Sisson at sdnlife@bellsouth.net.

Dogwood Press publisher and author Joe Lee visits the Webster Writers during their January 2010 meeting to discuss writing, publishing and books in general. Even a few former Starkville High School classmates visited the BLY to enjoy Lee's book discussion.
